Vatican conference on responses to piracy at sea

The Vatican is sponsoring a conference this week on providing care for sailors who are captured by pirates.
With piracy becoming an increasingly common phenomenon, Vatican officials are calling attention to the spiritual and psychological needs of those who are captured and held hostage.
