Another Planned Parenthood clinic caught in pro-life 'sting'

February 04, 2011

For the second time in less than a week, a Planned Parenthood employee has been caught on videotape giving helpful advice to a man who identifies himself as the operator of a prostitution ring using young girls.

Just a few days after releasing video of a New Jersey clinic employee offering similar advice, the pro-life group Live Action has produced new video from a clinic in Richmond, Virginia. Once again the video shows a Planned Parenthood worker providing advice that could help a pimp obtain abortions for young girls.

“Planned Parenthood’s problems go far beyond New Jersey,” said Lila Rose, the president of Live Action. “Our new video shows their Richmond clinic willing to aid and abet the sexual exploitation of minors and coaching a pimp about how girls as young as 14 – 15 could circumvent parental consent laws for secret abortions.”

“Our investigations of 12 clinics in the past four years show a pattern of Planned Parenthood’s willingness to cover-up the sexual abuse of minors and young women,” Rose says, noting that the clinic worker in Virginia said that Planned Parenthood helps young girls to circumvent parental-consent requirements “once or twice a month.” She called upon law-enforcement officials in Virginia to investigate, and added that the evidence of widespread misconduct should call into question the $350 million in taxpayer support that Planned Parenthood receives each year.
