European bishops discuss university pastoral work
CWN - February 02, 2011
Representatives of 23 European bishops’ conferences met recently in Munich to discuss university pastoral work. Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster spoke on Blessed John Henry Newman’s Idea of a University, Tino Bargel of Konstanz University characterized current students as intensely individualistic, and Msgr. Sergio Lanza of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart spoke on the importance of evangelization.
