CWN - January 31, 2011
Caritas Internationalis, the consortium of Catholic relief and development agencies, has issued an appeal on behalf of the victims of Brazil’s worst natural disaster in four decades. An estimated one million people have been affected by flooding.
“There are thousands of people at the doors of our churches asking for immediate help,” said the secretary general of Brazil’s episcopal conference.
