Australian ordinariate will embrace Anglicans in Japan
CWN - January 21, 2011
An ordinariate for Anglicans seeking to join the Catholic Church in Australia, which will be set up by Pentecost, will extend to include Anglicans in Japan, according to an Anglican bishop involved in planning the initiative.
Bishop Harry Entwistle is one of four Anglican prelates in the Australian region who will be ordained as Catholic priests as the ordinariate is established. Another 28 priests have indicated their desire to enter the ordinariate.
