Some Pakistani Muslim leaders back Pope, favor repeal of blasphemy law

Rejecting the arguments of militant Islamic leaders, some imams in Pakistan are backing the call by Pope Benedict XVI for repeal of the nation’s blasphemy law.
The moderate Islamic leaders say that the secular government should enforce the justice system without discrimination, offering equal rights to all, and ignore the demands of religious extremists.
