Vatican denies collaboration with Discovery Channel on exorcism show

Catholic World News - January 10, 2011

The director of the Holy See Press Office has denied a recent claim by the Discovery Channel that the Vatican collaborated in the production of a forthcoming television series on exorcism.

“I deny that supposed collaboration,” said Father Federico Lombardi. “Neither the Vatican nor the Catholic Church is involved in this project.”

I've read the comments on CNN. It's typical anti-Catholic rants. Why would the Discovery Channel lie about something like this? Ka-ching!! This is not going to help the Church's image at all and I'm very disappointed in the Discovery Channel. I will not watch any programs on that channel or provide any financial support.
