Catholic hospital investigating staff doctor's Planned Parenthood connection
Catholic World News - January 06, 2011
A Catholic hospital in Virginia is reviewing the employment of a doctor who has reportedly performed abortions at a nearby clinic.
Authorities at Bon Secours Depaul Medical Center in Norfolk emphasize that no abortions have been performed at the hospital itself, and that Bon Secours adheres to ethical standards set by the US Catholic bishops. But the status of Dr. Richard Willard is under “careful review” because of reports that he has taken on extra work as an abortionist at a local Planned Parenthood clinic.
