Orissa: 9 sentenced for burning Christians’ homes

Two years after an anti-Christian pogrom in the eastern Indian state of Orissa left nearly 100 dead, a court has sentenced nine men to five years of hard labor for burning Christians’ homes. The nine Hindus set fire to homes in Damangpadar, one of 450 villages in which homes were destroyed.
