Catholic World News - December 24, 2010

From northern China, AsiaNews brings a report on the loyal priests of the “underground” Catholic Church, who are braving bitter cold weather and official disapproval to celebrate Christmas Mass for the faithful.

In the south, AsiaNews reports on two newly ordained bishops, who are praying for a new burst of evangelical success in China.

The courage of these underground priest is inspiring. We will also suffer the persecution the Chinese Church is undergoing. Pray that we and our clergy will be as brave in following Our Lord.
