Hindu militants threaten new action against Christians in Orissa

Hindu radicals in the Kandahamal region of India’s Orissa state have announced plans to hold a public rally on Christmas Day to “honor the memory” of a comrade who was injured during an attack on a Christian church and later died. Christians in the region—where widespread violence against Christians burst out in 2007—are fearful that the rally could spark a new bloodbath.
