Chinese regime treating bishops like criminals

CWN - December 07, 2010

Father Bernardo Cervellera, the director of the AsiaNews service, decries the Chinese government’s heavy-handed treatment of Catholic bishops and priests. Clerics are being hunted down like criminals, he reports, as the government prepares for the election of a new head of the Catholic Patriotic Association. Following its familiar pattern, the Beijing regime is rounding up dissidents as it prepares to stage a major propaganda event.

We should all be praying daily for priests everywhere! As Fr Corapi says often: "No priest, no Eucharist." And, that is precisely Satan's goal, to cripple the Church, and remove the source, center and summit of our faith, Jesus Christ. Pray the rosary, pray the Divine Mercy chaplet, and pray to St Michael to defend our priests, bishops, and the Pope!
