Pope renews appeal for Haiti

Pope Benedict XVI renewed his prayers and his pleas for help for the people of Haiti as he concluded his Angelus audience on Sunday, November 14.
The Pope alerted his audience to the cholera epidemic that is now sweeping the devastated nation, praised those who are responding to the latest urgent needs of the Haitian people, and appealed for new aid from international donors.
