Holocaust commission member: Pius XII saved my father’s life

Catholic World News - November 04, 2010

A member of the Alabama Holocaust Commission has told the Pave the Way Foundation that Venerable Pius XII saved his father’s life. Robert Adler, a Spanish professor at the University of North Alabama, said that his father was hidden in the Vatican for five weeks in 1941 and met with the Pope several times. Adler’s father later made his way to the Dominican Republic with the help of a Vatican network.
