Argentina: attacks on pro-life women went unreported

November 01, 2010

A Catholic magazine in Argentina has reported violent attacks on pro-life activists that went completely unreported by the secular media in October.

The November issue of Familia y Vida provides detailed coverage of assaults that left 50 women injured during the National Women’s Conference in Parana on October 9-11. The magazine reports that abortion advocates had planned acts of vandalism at Catholic churches located near the conference center, but were deterred by the presence of hundreds of lay Catholics protecting the buildings.
