Vatican calls for cooperative effort in annual message to Hindus

In an annual message to the world’s Hindus, the Vatican has suggested that Christians and Hindus should work “together to become artisans of peace.”
The message from the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, released in time for Deepavali, the Hindu festival of light, stresses mutual respect and cooperation, saying that working together “shapes a shared conviction that we can depend on each other to achieve a common purpose.”
