In an annual message to the world’s Hindus, the Vatican has suggested that Christians and Hindus should work “together to become artisans of peace.”
The message from the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, released in time for Deepavali, the Hindu festival of light, stresses mutual respect and cooperation, saying that working together “shapes a shared conviction that we can depend on each other to achieve a common purpose.”
