Relief agencies send out urgent plea for Benin flood victims

Massive floods have driven at least 200,000 people from their homes in Benin, and triggered an epidemic of disease, prompting urgent calls for help from relief agencies.
Caritas Benin, the Catholic relief agency, reported an “urgent need of food and medicine,” as well as supplies such as bedding, mosquito netting, and insecticides.
