Pope greets pilgrims after canonization ceremony
CWN - October 18, 2010
At this Angelus audience on October 17, after presiding at the canonization of six new saints, Pope Benedict XVI remarked that saints are “the living image of God’s love.”
The Pope spoke in Italian, French, English, German, Spanish, and Polish during his midday audience, using the languages of pilgrims who had come to celebrate the canonization of Sts. Giulia Salzano, Battista da Varano, Andre Bessette, Mary MacKillop, Candida Maria de Jesus Cipitria y Barriola, and Stanislao Soltys.
