Polish president visits Pontiff on anniversary of JPII election

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on October 16.
During their discussions on Church-state relations in Poland, and current affairs in Europe generally, the two took note of the fact that the date marked the 32nd anniversary of the election of Pope John Paul II as the first Polish Pontiff in Church history.
