Danish prosecutors end abuse inquiries: no charges filed
CWN - October 14, 2010
Prosecutors in Denmark have completed a review of sex-abuse charges involving Catholic priests, and decided against pressing charges in any of the cases.
Danish Church officials noted that the police review of 31 different cases led to the conclusion that in some cases prosecution was barred by the statute of limitations, while in others there was insufficient evidence to warrant criminal prosecution.
