Hitchens, Blair to debate religion

CWN - October 13, 2010

Tony Blair and famed atheist Christopher Hitchens will take part in a debate in Toronto next month over whether “religion is a force for good in the world.” Blair, who served as prime minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007, was received into the Church six months after leaving office.

Blair would be a worthy opponent in a political debate, but how can he stand up to Hitchens unless and until he actually accepts and believes all that the holy Catholic Church believes and teaches? What a fiasco it will be.

Not holding my breath on Blair's ability to act as an effective apologist, especially in a debate format.
