President Obama meets with Catholic Charities leadership

The leadership of Catholic Charities USA met with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office on September 22.
“President Obama recognized the social service organization for their 100 years of service, discussed with them their bipartisan legislative initiative related to poverty relief and congratulated them on their upcoming Centennial celebrations,” according to a Catholic Charities statement.
