Protestant pastor beaten in Pakistan
CWN - September 21, 2010
Five men attacked a Protestant pastor just after nightfall on September 13 near the eastern Pakistani city of Kasur.
As Emmanuel Beshir, a Pentecostal pastor, was walking down the road, the five asked him, “Why do you preach that Jesus Christ is Lord and that no one can be saved without him?” After he answered, “We will never stop preaching the Lord Jesus Christ to all nations,” the five men beat him. Beshir is currently hospitalized.
