Papal encouragement for Latin American youth conference
CWN - September 01, 2010
During his regular public audience on September 1, Pope Benedict XVI took a few moments to send a message of encouragement to the 3rd Latin American Youth Conference, meeting in Venezuela.
The Holy Father told young Catholics that if they firmly fix their attention to Christ, “you will find the strength which encourages us to commit ourselves to causes that dignify mankind and make peoples great.” The Pope urged the participants in the conference to renew their devotion to the Lord, and spread the message of the Gospel to their friends.
