California victim becomes full-time advocate
CWN - August 27, 2010
A California magazine has profiled Joelle Castix, who following a suicide attempt was seduced by a lay staff member at her Orange County Catholic high school in the 1980s. Castix subsequently had an abortion.
Castix is now a full-time advocate for abuse victims, handing out flyers outside parishes and testifying before state legislatures.
