Filipino bishops will continue work business leaders who support contraceptive program

Catholic bishops in the Philippines have announced that although they are disappointed to know that corporate leaders are backing government plans for a new family-planning campaign, they will not break off their ties with those executives.
“We may not be able to influence business leaders on certain issues,” b said Bishop Antonio Tobias of Novaliches, but a refusal to work with them “would exclude us from influencing them on any matter."
