Filipino bishops will continue work business leaders who support contraceptive program
CWN - August 12, 2010
Catholic bishops in the Philippines have announced that although they are disappointed to know that corporate leaders are backing government plans for a new family-planning campaign, they will not break off their ties with those executives.
“We may not be able to influence business leaders on certain issues,” b said Bishop Antonio Tobias of Novaliches, but a refusal to work with them “would exclude us from influencing them on any matter."
