China: Monk arrested in murder of priest, nun

A 43-year-old monk who is a member of the underground Church in China has confessed to the recent murder of a priest and a nun, according to the Chinese state news agency. Father Joseph Zhang Shulai, the vicar general of the underground Church in the Diocese of Ningxia, and Sister Mary Wei Yanhui were murdered at the nursing home where they worked in Wuhai, a city of 430,000 in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia.
