Chinese priest, nun killed; motive unknown
CWN - July 06, 2010
A Catholic priest and nun working with the “underground” Church in China’s Ningxia diocese were killed on July 5.
The bodies of Father Jospeh Shulai Zhang, the vicar general of the diocese, and Sister Mary Wei Yanhui were found Tuesday morning in a pool of blood. Both had been stabbed in the chest, evidently after a struggle. Police do not know the identity or the motivation of the killer.
