The 'astonishing rise' of Cardinal Ouellet

Ten years ago, Father Marc Ouellet was a priest, a seminary rector and theology instructor. This week Cardinal Ouellet was named prefect of the powerful Congregation for Bishops.     I was pleased with his recent leadership in standing up for the sanctity of life. He is a good example to other bishops and to the laity.

    It is men such as this who will bring the Catholic Church through the dark hours it is experiencing.
