Vatican UN envoy named nuncio to Poland

CWN - June 30, 2010

Pope Benedict named Archbishop Celestino Migliore, the permanent observer of the Holy See for the United Nations, as his new apostolic nuncio to Poland. The previous nuncio to Poland, Archbishop Józef Kowalczyk, was named Archbishop of Gniezno and Primate of Poland in May. The Pontiff did not name a successor to Archbishop Migliore.
