Papal plea for Kyrgyzstan
CWN - June 21, 2010
Pope Benedict XVI issued a plea for peace in Kyrgyzstan at the conclusion of his Angelus audience on June 21. The Pope asked “all the ethnic communities of the country to renounce any form of provocation or violence." He added an appeal to international humanitarian groups to help those afflicted by the recent conflicts.
