Bulgaria: Identity of master medieval painter revealed

The painter of the frescoes at an Orthodox church outside Sofia-- characterized by UNESCO as ‘one of the most complete and perfectly preserved monuments of east European medieval art’-- has been identified ‘with certainty,’ said Bozhidar Dimitrov, the director of the National History Museum.
