Congressman decries US support for pro-abortion Kenyan constitution
CWN - May 27, 2010
Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey has renewed his complaint that the Obama administration is illegally funding a campaign in favor of a new proposed constitution for Kenya.
The Obama administration has committed $2 million to support efforts to obtain ratification of the Kenyan document. But US federal law stipulates that no foreign-aid funds "may be used to lobby for or against abortion," and the acceptance of abortion is a key point in dispute over ratification of the Kenyan constitution. The country's Catholic bishops have rallied opposition to the document for that reason.

Look, this man favors infanticide. As far as our laws, the Constitution, and the wishes of the American people are concerned, Obama does as he pleases. Let's not forget that a majority of those Catholics voters helped elect him into office. Sadly, from those Catholic voters were many bishops. Either they were too stupid to see through Obama, or they did know and that's why they supported him. These are our leaders? Lord, have mercy!
