Vatican goes broadband
Catholic World News - May 11, 2010
The Vatican has announced plans for a fiber-optic network that will provide for broadband data, voice, and video communications.
The Vatican city-state has signed a contract with Telecom Italia for the installation of the network, which will cover the Vatican itself and remote locations including the papal summer residence at Castel Gandolfo and the Vatican Radio broadcast tower outside Rome.
