Catholic blogger to receive honorary degree, deliver commencement address
CWN - May 07, 2010
In a decision that manifests the changing dynamics of Catholic journalism, the Aquinas Institute of Theology is awarding an honorary degree to Rocco Palmo, 27, who started the popular Whispers in the Loggia blog in 2004. The Dominican-sponsored institute, which is located in St. Louis, has also announced that Mr. Palmo will be the commencement speaker during the May 7 graduation ceremony.
