Pope, at audience, thanks priests for faithful service
CWN - April 21, 2010
During his general audience on Wednesday, April 21, Pope Benedict XVI offered a special welcome to a group of priests of the Rome diocese who had just completed a pilgrimage to Ars, France. He praised them and other priests all around the world who have taken advantage of the Year for Priests to "rededicate themselves with apostolic zeal to serving the people of God." He encouraged them to continue following the example of priestly ministry set by the Curé of Ars, St. John Mary Vianney.
