Pope meets Guatemalan president

Pope Benedict XVI met on March 26 with Guatemala's President Alvaro Colom Caballeros. A brief Vatican statement released after the meeting said that the conversation had centered on the protection of human life and families, and "challenges of poverty, organized crime and emigration."
