Mission work shows Church's vitality: Pope
CWN - March 26, 2010
In his message for this year's observance of World Mission Sunday, Pope Benedict XVI writes that the urge to spread the Gospel is "always a sign of vitality in our churches." In their missionary efforts, the Pope says, "Christians must learn to offer signs of hope, to become a universal brotherhood, cultivating the great ideals that transform history and, without false illusions or misplaced fears, undertake to make the planet a home for everyone."
The 84th annual World Mission Sunday will be observed on October 24. The Vatican released the Pope's message on March 26.
