Israel-Palestinian tensions grow: focus on Temple Mount
CWN - March 15, 2010
Israeli officials have extended a state of alert in East Jerusalem, and barred young men from the Islamic mosques on the Temple Mount, as tensions continue to rise in the ancient city. Palestinians have announced a general strike to protest Israel's aggressive construction projects in East Jerusalem and on the West Bank-- territories claimed by the Palestinian Authority.
