New confrontations on Jerusalem's Temple Mount
CWN - March 05, 2010
Israeli police clashed with rock-throwing Palestinians on Jerusalem's Temple Mount on March 5. The confrontation-- the second such incident in less than a week-- came after an Islamic preacher at the famous Al Aqsa mosque denounced Israel's decision to take control of two religious shrines on the West Bank. In nearby Hebron, about 100 Palestinians joined in a peaceful protest march to one of those shrines, the Cave of the Patriarchs.
