Mosul: another killing heightens fears among Iraqi Christians

The execution-style murder of a Christian student in Mosul, Iraq-- the 3rd such killing in that city this week-- has added to an "atmosphere of panic that reigns among Christians" there, the AsiaNews service reports. The campaign of violence against Christians, largely ignored by public officials, has driven many Christian families out of Mosul.
