Satanic-themed video games on the rise

Catholic World News - February 08, 2010

An increasing number of video games are glorifying Satan, according to an article posted on the web site of Johnette Benkovic’s Living His Life Abundantly. In one game (Tecmo’s Deception: Invitation To Darkness), “players make an unholy pact and sell their soul to Satan in exchange for power, with the object of the game being to ensure the resurrection of Satan and obtain his power.” Other games feature demonic heroes; in Nocturne, the hero seeks to destroy the three archangels and God.
