Papal greetings for Winter Olympics

In greetings to participants and organizers of the Winter Olympics games, Pope Benedict XVI has voiced his hope that "sport may always be a valued building block of peace and friendship between peoples and nations." The Pope conveyed his message to Archbishop Michael Miller of Vancouver, where the Olympic Games will be held later this month.
