    The NYT author seems to admit that "Catholic" Democrats have no concern about their eternal salvation but need unhindered access to Holy Communion for political gains with the Catholic voters: "the debate promises to keep the issue alive and present a nagging headache for President Biden and other Catholic politicians who support abortion rights."
