CWN Editor's Note: Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, the papal almoner, presided on January 25 at a funeral mass for Roberto Mantovani, a homeless man who was well known on the streets near the Vatican. The funeral came on the day after Pope Francis lamented the death of a homeless Nigerian immigrant who had apparently died of exposure just a few blocks from the Vatican.
