Church of Scientology cited for fraud by French court

A French court has imposed a €600,000 ($900,000) fine on the Church of Scientology, finding that the group engaged in fraud in its intensive efforts to raise money from new members. The group will be allowed to continue its work in France, however. A spokesman for the Church of Scientology likened the court's ruling to the Inquisition.
