French diocese allows Anglican services in 8 churches
CWN - August 03, 2009
The Diocese of Périgueux-Sarlat is allowing Anglican clergy to minister to British expatriates in eight churches, with one priest objecting to the ministry of a female Anglican cleric within his parish. The southwestern French diocese’s historic 538 parishes were merged into 30 parishes by retired Bishop Gaston Élie Poulain in the 1990s.
