Anglican cathedral offers choice of communion blessed by male, female priests

Blackburn Cathedral is offering its Anglican laity a choice of communion blessed by a female residential canon or a male priest. βIt was agreed by all the clergy and cathedral chapter that this was the best way to handle what we call a mixed economy,β said Andrew Hindley, a cathedral canon.
