India: Church encourages larger families, reversals of sterilization

The bishops of Kerala are encouraging the faithful to have larger families and to have sterilizations reversed by driving down the cost of such procedures at Catholic hospitals. The southwestern Indian state has been India’s Catholic stronghold since its evangelization by St. Thomas the Apostle.
