US could fund Christian militia groups in Middle East, lobby claims

CWN Editor's Note: A Washington-based group that opposes radical Islam has announced that US policy allows for the funding of Christian militia groups in the Middle East. The Clarion Project made that claim after the Trump Administration announced plans to provide funding for Christian and other minority groups engaged in humanitarian work. Vice President Mike Pence announced: “We will no longer rely on the United Nations alone to help persecuted Christians and minorities.”
